Regional Area Manager Scandinavia

Originating from the coastal city of Varberg, with over 200 years of spa traditions, the brand now has additional offices in London and Paris, and has recently embarked upon a strategic partnership with the French premium investment fund Experienced Capital.

In order to strengthen the sales department and realize its high ambitions of expansion, L:A BRUKET is opening the position of Regional Area Manager Scandinavia, based in Stockholm, Sweden.


Reporting to the Deputy GM, the Regional Area Manager is responsible of the Scandinavian business development, the implementation of the commercial strategy and the respect of the brand positioning in terms of distribution, image and price in multiple distribution channels: retail – wholesale and travel retail.


As a Regional Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing the region in all its aspects, including the non-exhaustive list of missions:

- Implementation of the strategic plan fixed by the management in the targeted area
- Implementation of a regional brand repositioning with door classification and closing/opening, new assortment rules
- Management of an existing team of country managers, sellout managers, retail teams
- Negotiate with the key market players (department stores, specialty beauty chains, agents): premium locations, sufficient margins, marketing expense commitments and ambitious growth objectives
- Ensure a physical and active field presence to energize the commercial networks, especially the retail team by the implementation of a clear retail culture: customer ceremony, CRM, VM, daily incentives, coaching and reporting
- Control the quality and visibility of the brand in every door, the level of dedicated staff skills, as well as the respect of the defined assortments
- Define, in line with WW ambition, the sell-in and sell-out objectives in value and volume per door, with a monthly performance tracking and necessary actions for correction
- Monitor retail door’s P&L on a monthly basis and implementation of necessary actions for correction
- Follow and control orders and new launch placements, as well as the sellout performances
- Negotiate the implementation of premium and dynamic marketing on/offline initiatives to all accounts, while monitoring their KPIs and qualitative execution
- Define and track the fiscal yearly trade marketing budget (and plans per major door) of the area, as well as the Inpi of the major retailers
- Search, identify and negotiate new door openings as well as the necessary capex/opex envelop to support this external growth
- Train regularly local teams (HQ and retail) on the brand core values, heritage and new launches
- Ensure a permanent market monitoring (customers, prospects, competition) and proactively infuse creative and marketing teams with market insights


Based in Stockholm, the Regional Area Manager is part of the international sales team and will be daily connected with the marketing as well as the customer service departments.


- Minimum University degree at Master’s, MBA or equivalent, with a 5 years equivalent experience of business multi-channel development, ideally specialized in the beauty industry with an expertise of retail and wholesale channels in Scandinavia
- Fluent in English and minimum 30% travel availability in the region
- Already-proven team management skills
- Result-driven person with a true business talent translated into a real attention to customer satisfaction, analytical skills (incl data) and a capacity to suggest and defend business actions
- Natural interest in the industry with a clear understanding of what are the beauty disruptive trends (clean beauty, DIY, refillable, DNVB).
- Project mood with “go-to-market” mind-set. Self-doer, performing in an auto-challenge and young environment, with willingness to work with creative teams.
- Strong leadership and capacity to grow and make the teams grow within a fast-expanding business and organization.
